  • Vintage Cobalt Blue Cased Glass Vase – Heavy Mid Century Modern Teardrop Art Glass – 21.5cm

  • £40.00

:  at  £40.00  each

A seriously striking piece of vintage art glass. This tall, sculptural vase features an intense cobalt-blue core encased within a substantial layer of beautifully clear glass. The blue appears to hang inside the vase, plunging deep into the rounded teardrop base and creating dramatic reflections as the light moves through it. The vase is exceptionally heavy and feels every bit as impressive as it looks. Its clean tapered silhouette, bold colour and thick optical glass give it a distinctly mid-century modern character. Beautiful displayed alone, where its shape can really command attention, or placed among a collection of Scandinavian and European art glass. MEASUREMENTS Height: 21.5 cm Width at widest point: approximately 9 cm CONDITION Excellent vintage condition, with no chips, cracks or notable scratches. No maker’s mark or original label has been found, so the vase is offered as unattributed vintage art glass. Please examine all photographs, which form part of the description.
