A striking vintage turquoise-blue glass decanter set featuring beautifully detailed Venetian waterfront scenes, silver-coloured decorative bands and an unusual glow under ultraviolet light. The elegant decanter features an illustrated architectural scene with domed buildings, gondolas and waterside details, giving it a wonderfully romantic Italian character. Accompanied by four matching small drinking glasses, this is a decorative vintage set with plenty of personality. Details - Vintage blue glass decanter with stopper - Four matching small drinking glasses - Venetian architectural and gondola decoration - Silver-coloured decorative bands - Glass exhibits fluorescence under UV light - Decanter approximately 23 cm high × 11 cm wide - Maker and precise age unconfirmed Condition No chips or cracks to the decanter or glasses. The decorative scenes on the four small glasses have largely worn away through age and use. The decanter retains much more of its original decoration. Please examine the photographs carefully, as they form part of the description. A charming vintage set, equally suited to display on a drinks cabinet or as an unusual addition to a collection of decorative glass. Carefully packed for safe delivery from Cornwall.
