:  at  £25.00  each

A beautifully understated piece of vintage studio pottery, with an elegant flared neck, gently tapering body and wonderfully earthy glazing. Standing 13cm tall, this hand-thrown stoneware vase combines a soft, misty grey-green glaze with expressive iron-brown and muted green brushwork. The upper neck has been left unglazed, revealing the natural warmth and texture of the clay. There is something distinctly Japanese-inspired about its simplicity, where the natural materials, subtle imperfections and spontaneous glaze decoration become part of its charm. A lovely example of the studio pottery tradition, celebrating craftsmanship and individuality rather than mass production. Perfect displayed on its own, amongst a collection of artisan ceramics or holding a few dried stems. Measurements Height: 13cm Width: 9cm Maker: Unidentified studio potter Period: Believed to be late 20th century Material: Glazed stoneware Excellent vintage condition, with no chips or cracks. The glaze and natural variations in the stoneware are part of its handmade character. No maker's mark present. Please examine the photographs carefully as they form part of the description. Carefully packaged for safe delivery from Cornwall, England.
